Awards programme
Judging has finished, according to Roofing Today’s report published on 1 October. The report does not name the shortlisted contractors or their projects.
The Grand Central Hotel will host the event. The programme includes a three-course lunch, with Jojo Sutherland providing entertainment as guest host.
CompanyCam is sponsoring a drinks reception before lunch. This will give roofing professionals attending from across Scotland an opportunity to meet before the seated programme begins.
The Ronnie Forsyth Young Roofer of the Year Award will be presented alongside the category awards. CITB is sponsoring the young roofer award.
NFRC members and event updates
NFRC Scotland Chairman Scott Miller said the awards had attracted growing interest and higher standards in recent years. He welcomed members submitting projects for recognition and wished the finalists well.
The presidential handover follows the end of Colin McCorquodale’s term. It places the change in NFRC leadership on the same programme as the awards for members’ roofing work.
Tickets have sold out. NFRC plans to announce the results during the event through its @NFRC social channels, providing updates for those who are not attending.
