Aspect’s background
Aspect Group Services started trading in 1972 as a roofing contractor. The business is headquartered in Wymondham, according to Roofing Today, which reported the completed transaction on 5 October 2026.
Its customers span the private, commercial and public sectors. The work ranges from small repairs and ongoing maintenance to larger programmes of property improvements, giving the business a remit beyond its original roofing activity.
Cardo said Aspect would extend its UK presence and add capacity for both planned maintenance and work carried out in response to repair needs. The group described the purchase as an addition to its wider building maintenance and renewables operations.
Management’s plans
Aspect managing director Matt Dillon said the business had developed its specialist services across East Anglia over more than 50 years. He presented the move into Cardo as a way to develop those services with support from the wider group.
Dillon said access to additional investment, skills and expertise would support that development. He also said the arrangement would create opportunities for employees and suppliers, while maintaining the service provided to existing customers and partners.
Cardo chief executive Liam Bevan pointed to Aspect’s roofing and building maintenance experience and its record of providing property services in East Anglia. He said Dillon and the Aspect team would be welcomed into the group.
Bevan said Cardo intended to continue investing in service delivery. He also said the group would preserve Aspect’s specialist knowledge and regional focus, identifying both as important to the delivery of property services.
